History Converted from Mk2 Brake coaches in the late seventies to provide push / pull driving trailers to the Glasgow to Edinburgh trains on the Scottish Region. In the nineties the push/pull sets were relocated to East Anglia on the Liverpool to Norwich Route where they remained until withdrawn in 2006. Five units were converted for use as Driving trailers to test trains for Network Rail and can be found across the rail network.
